Crafty Challenge #58 - Autumn Daze

The challenge? Create an Autumn based project...

Is everyone out there as excited as I am to feel the weather changing? It was gorgeous here yesterday after a few scorchers. Mid-seventies! Clear skies! Breezy and beautiful! Today promises  nothing less than the perfect autmun afternoon, which is why my brood and I are heading out to the zoo. We all need a break and some good old fashioned quality time together.
(Sadly I hear rain is in the forecast Monday and Tuesday so it may not be as glorious out by the time you read this post...sorry!)

We all enjoy the natural treasures that autumn brings and the rich hues that we see in the colors marching along the hill tops. The rustic reds and golds of our maples set off against the bright blue autumn sky...is there anything more glorious?

Well, someone gave it a try...with the richly saturated and vibrant colors of the Indian Summer designer paper by  Basic Grey. If you don't know this paper you are in for a visual feast!

Here is what our paper looks like...just a sample of course!

The papers above are available at Die Cuts R Us in a 6x6 sampler pack; you receive 18 6x6 sheets (2 of each design) for $3.50.

Aren't they fabulous!

Our designers worked with these and created all of these amazing projects for you:

Crafty Challenge # 49 - Sketcherrific Challenge

As much as I'm thrilled to introduce this week's challenge, I'm also a bit saddened by it. Why? This is the very last challenge for our Term II DT. So please be sure to give everyone LOTS of positive comments on their blogs or right here. I'm sure it will hold a special place in their hearts. Now, on to the challenge...
Here is a fun seasonal sketch for all of you...seasonal because I call it "Sunny Patch". Boy do we have some sunny bright days going on. Who can believe that July is nearly over?

Before the month gets away from us lets sneak in one more challenge...using the "Sunny Patch" sketch. Our fantabulous DT got to work with MME-So Sophie "Graceful" DP.

Check out their sunny super interpretations...

Very Special Giveaway

Friends, I am sure by now you have heard what happened to our dear, sweet friend Michelle over at Stampavie. You can read all about it HERE.
Michelle is so nice, and immediately welcomed DCRU into the family of Stampavie retailers. We would like to help out. Die Cuts R Us will donate $1.00 for every participant entry in this week's challenge towards Michelle's medical expenses fund. Plus, every participant will be entered into a drawing to win a Stampavie stamp of their choice from the DCRU stock. Let's show Michelle how much her friends at Die Cuts R Us and A Crafty Little Place care!

Please feel free to make a project and link it up below. We always love to see what our followers are inspired to create. So have some fun and whip up some vintage beauties to share with us.
