Final Scrappy Challenge!

Yes, that is correct, this will be our final scrapbook challenge. So, with that in mind, lets make it a FUNTASTIC CHALLENGE!

OUR NEW AND FINAL SCRAPPY CHALLENGE

Now, for our last Scrappy Challenge we decided to go with a Back To School Theme this time. I have two children heading to school this week, a sophomore and a pre-schooler. Lori has several children returning to their home schooling (bless her heart...I love her for her patience). Joni, too has children returning to school. Its a busy time for all of us Mom's, one that brings tears and also cheers! We love 'em, but sometimes, we just need a break.

I distressed all 32 edges of the card stock and pictures with my trusty Kitchen Knife, because I wanted a rugged look.  I also distressed the 12 x 12 paper with sand paper blocks but that does not show up to well in the pictures!!!!

Oh have we got some fun news for you. First of all lets announce the winner of our last Scrappy Challenge...

Before I tell you what we al used for our designs let me just mention that we are giving a prize away for this scrapbook challenge. A gift certificate to the Die Cuts R Us Store!

Our Crafty Scrappers worked with some beautiful papers from several different DP lines this week. The Kioshi DP has just won me over by leaps and bounds. If you missed it on our Craft Challenge this week click HERE and you can see what the ACLP DT did with it. GORGEOUS!

As for the Fly A Kite DP...oh, this is a fun line to work with. Just look at the colors and playful patterns this offers. Now who can't use a little more playfulness in their lives? I know I can. Just ask my kids they'll tell you...LOL!

We've also got some Dear Lizzy in the mix...another fun DP that is super current with its banners and clothes and glitters and colors...oh, did I mention I really like Dear Lizzy too?

We also have a fantastic GDT with us who was on her creative cue this evening and despite power outages and what-not she was able to send us her project via text message. Ah, the joys of modern technology! Thanks for your quick thinking, Sarabeth...oh, yeah that's right our Guest Designer this week is non-other than the EVAH STUPENDOUSLY SUPER TALENTED...
